Local Clubs Merge

07 Mar

We are pleased to announce the merger of East Lancashire Amateur Radio Club and Burnley & District Amateur Radio Club at a meeting on the 2nd March 2023 at Higham Village Hall. The merged club, East Lancashire & Pendle Amateur Radio Club, will meet at Higham Village Hall every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm starting on the 6th of April. Until then we will continue to meet at Nelson with our last night being Monday 27th March. The current East Lancs committee will continue in post and the meetings will continue to be £2 payable on the night to pay for the room rent, tea/coffee etc. Some members prefer to pay monthly by standing order and there are details in this group. I want to thank everyone involved with the merger and welcome everyone to the new club. Please join our Facebook group for the latest information about the club.
