ELRC are looking to invite Chris Shuttleworth, the Civil Contingencies Officer for Ribble Valley Borough Council to our meeting 16 July. Chris will be giving a talk on 'Local Resilience', a secure radio network for providing communications in the event of failure of telephone and mobile infrastructures to Police, Fire, Ambulance and Local Authorities. RAYNET also have an option on using this infrastructure, so will be of real interest to many! All welcome.
